Although Edinburgh Airport doesn’t have its own train station, the nearest Edinburgh Gateway Station does serve trains to downtown.

How do I reach the nearest train station?

Edinburgh Gateway Station is connected to the Tram network that serves Edinburgh Airport. 

On the other hand, the Tram also connects the airport with Edinburgh Park Railway Station.
